Abstract:In the identification of the noise source, to solve the problems of poor identification accuracy, low computational efficiency, limited resolution, rigorous measurement equipment request, the method of identification of the structure noise source based on source strength distribution acoustic radiation modes is proposed. Firstly, source strength distribution acoustic radiation modes and sound field distribution modes of the structure are obtained, then expansion coefficients vector of acoustic radiation modes is determined through the relationship of the pressure vector measured in the sound field and its corresponding structural sound field distribution modes matrix, finally, the structure noise source is identified by means of the product of acoustic radiation modes matrix and expansion coefficients vector of acoustic radiation modes vector. This method may obtain nice resolution and good identification accuracy. The simulation results and the experimental results show that the method proposed can provide good results.
